We have the first leg of the trail totally cleared from the Peacock One porch to Olsen. We are ready to order the first kiosk. The lumber has been delivered for the Peacock Two & Three walkways.

We had a tremendous turnout for the geology workshop held by Jerry Murphy. The ISSP Visitors Center was filled to capacity. Thanks to Jerry, Kelly Jessop and Jim Womble for doing such a great job. Our thanks also goes to the staff of Ichetucknee Springs. Park Assistant Manager Wesley Jones, Rangers Patty Martin, Rick Hughes and Ron Preston were all on hand at the workshop and provided us with refreshments. We thank all of you who donated prizes that were given away at the workshop.

We also want to remind you of the Telford Springs litter pickup this Saturday. We will have pickup sticks and litter bags, please remember to wear gloves. There will be refreshments and prizes.
